WARTBERG IM MÜRZTAL

State : Steiermark
District : Bruck-Mürzzuschlag (until 2015 Mürzzuschlag)
Incorporated into : 2015 Sankt Barbara im Mürztal

Wappen von Wartberg im Mürztal

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 23, 1980.

The arms are canting: a Warte (literally, a lookout post; in the case of Wartberg a small castle, now disappeared) on a Berg (mountain). The flywheel represents Wartberg's past and present, which is influenced by metal industries.
