NAUSSAC-FONTANES

Département : Lozère
Additions : 2016 Fontanes, Naussac

Blason de Naussac-Fontanes

Official blason

  • (fr) Coupé ondé: au 1er de sinople à la fontaine d'argent, au 2e d'azur à la truite d'argent.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on April 7, 2016.

The upper part shows a single (canting) fountain taken from the old arms of Fontanes. The division in green and blue is also taken from these old arms.

The bases shows a trout in blue, as a symbol for the Lake Noussac and the importance of fishing.
