Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 16, 2005.

The arms show an oak tree in a lake. The oak tree (tamm) is a canting element. The -salu part of the name means peninsula, which is shown with the water.

The previous arms were granted on May 25, 1993 and showed six oak leaves. The blaso was:
On hõbedasel kilbil kuus rohelist tammelehte 3+2+1.
