The Air Cadets added an Arch with the wording Luftkrigsskolen above the insignia. In 1955 the Air Warfare School took this as a Badge. It was approved by King Olav V on 17 August 1977 and the modern format was approved on 3 July 2008 by the Chief of the Defence. | |||
