- (fr) Parti de sinople et de gueules, à deux dextrochères d'argent mouvant des flancs dextre et senestre de l'écu et tenant deux épées d'argent garnies d'or passées en sautoir et surmontées de la date 1590 d'argent, le tout brochant sur la partition.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted in 1941.
The arms are an allusion to the Battle of Béchadie, where the royal armies and the army of the Viscount of Pompadour clashed in 1590.
