Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on August 9, 1996.

The owl on the hill refers to the location of the municipality in the Owl Mountains and in the Wałbrzych Hills. The red griffin is taken from the arms of Świdnica, the wheatear symbolises the agricultural and rural municipality.

The olive branch means reconciliation and consent.
