Wappen von Beckingen/Arms (crest) of Beckingen
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on August 20, 1951 and again on January 8, 1975.

The arms are those of Philipp Arnold von Ahr, Knight-Commander of the Teutonic Order. His arms can be found in the local St. Marcellus chapel. The area historically was a possession of the Teutonic Knights. The cross is the symbol of the Order, the roses and star are the arms of the Von Ahr family.
