Wappen von Delligsen/Arms (crest) of Delligsen

The previous arms were granted in 1956 and show in the point the lion of the Lords of Delligsen-Hohenbüchen. They ruled the village until 1355. The crowned C is the symbol of the local steel factory Carlshütte, founded by the Dukes of Braunschweig in 1735. The miner's tools are a symbol for the mining in the area.

Literature: Stadler, 1964-1971, 8 volumes.
