Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1964 and again on July 20, 1973.

The zig-zag bend is taken from the arms of the oldest medieval Lords of the village, the Counts of Heiligenberg. The roosteros a typical symbol in the paintings of the Genhofen chapel.
