HEIDENHOFEN

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Schwarzwald-Baar Kreis (until 1973 Donaueschingen)
Incorporated into: 1972 Donaueschingen

Wappen von Heidenhofen/Arms (crest) of Heidenhofen
Official blazon
German

In Grün mit blau-silbernem Wolkenbord ein goldener Balken.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were designed and adopted in 1903.

The village was a possession of the Lords of Sundhausen, who sold it in 1477 to the Counts of Fürstenberg. The arms thus show the arms of Sundhausen within the typical bordure of the Fürstenberg arms.
