Wappen von Mudau/Arms (crest) of Mudau
Official blazon
German In Rot ein silberner Wellenschrägbalken, begleitet von je einem sechsspeichigen silbernen Rad.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1907 and again in 1977.

The arms combine a wavy bend for the Mudbach river with the wheels of the State of Mainz. Until 1803 Mudau and the surrounding villages were part of the State of Mainz. After the mergers in the 1970s the arms did not change, as the symbolism would also cover the other villages.
