PALOMERA

Region : Castilla y León
Province : Cuenca

Escudo de Palomera/Arms (crest) of Palomera
Official blazon
Spanish
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 1, 2005.

The first quarter shows a canting dovecote (palomar) and some pigeons. The third quarter shows the Huécar river in the municipality.

The other half symbolises the water mills used for the paper production that used to operate in the village and thus show mill wheels and a sheet of paper.
