LOGISTICS TRAINING CENTRE, CANADA

Coat of arms (crest) of the Logistics Training Centre, Canada

Official blazon

Badge: Tierced in pale Azure, Gules and Bleu céleste, two chain links interlaced in saltire Or.
Motto: EXCELLENTIA PER SCIENTIAM.

Origin/meaning

The interlaced chain links are found in the badge of the Canadian Forces School of Administration and Logistics, which was renamed the Canadian Forces Logistics Training Centre. The chain links and the colour red refer to badge of the Logistics Branch. The colours of the field indicate that the Centre serves the three environmental elements of the Canadian Forces, namely sea, land and air. Motto: This Latin phrase means “Excellence through knowledge”.

The badge was approved on November 15, 2013.
