BALDINGEN

Canton : Aargau
Incorporated into : 2022 Zurzach

Wappen von Baldingen

Official blazon

In Blau drei (2,1) gelbe Lindenblätter mit gelbem Stiel und Zweig.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 3, 1963.

The arms are those of Johann Franz Zweyer von Evebach, governor of the area for the Bishops of Konstanz in 1666. He founded the local castle, hence the use of his arms as village arms.
