729TH AIR CONTROL SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE

History: Constituted 729 Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron on 16 February 1951. Activated on 5 March 1951. Inactivated on 15 July 1958. Redesignated 729 Tactical Control Squadron, and activated, on 6 January 1964. Organized on 1 July 1964. Inactivated on 25 June 1969. Activated on 15 October 1969. Inactivated on 30 November 1979. Activated on 1 October 1985. Redesignated 729 Air Control Squadron on 1 November 1991.
