Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1537 and again registered on November 24, 2014.

Lestkov got town rights and arm in 1537 by Emperor Ferdinand I on request of the local lord Heinrich von Schwamberg. The swan is a canting element (Schwan=swan) on the family arms, which were granted as city arms without the crest and mantling. In the mid 20th century the green base was removed, which was restored in 2014.
