BOSANSKI PETROVAC
State : Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Canton : Una-Sana
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted in 2005.
These arms try to combine as many symbols for the city and its surroundings; a yellow sun, green mountains with edelweiss, surce and a fir tree, a circular saw, ruins of masoned walls and a medieval city, three stars for the three ethnical communities and in the base a design from the traditional carpet production.
The previous arms were rather different:
These arms were adopted in the 1990s and only show the nmountains and the carpet design.
