MÜLHEIM AM RHEIN

State : Nordrhein-Westfalen
Incorporated into : 1888 Köln

Mulheimr3.jpg

Origin/meaning

The arms show a small ship, with a lion and a hunter (?). The lion probably is the lion of the County of Berg, to which the area historically belonged. The ship probably symbolises the shipping on the Rhine.
