Official blazon

Escut caironat d'or, 2 geminats ondats en pal d'atzur acostats de 3 còdols de gules malordenats a la destra i d'una creu patent de gules a la sinistra. Per timbre, una corona de baró.

Origin/meaning

These arms have been officially granted on 28th October 1998.

The arms show three stones, as an attribute of St. Stephen, the local patron saint; four wavy bars, an allusion to the rivers and creeks that flow through this Pyrenean municipality; and a patty cross Gules on Or, the traditional sign in the arms of this village. The castle of Prullans became in 1309 the centre of a barony, and this is shown by the baron's crown at the top.
