Escut caironat: de sinople, un castell obert faixat d'argent i de gules. Per timbre una corona mural de poble.
Origin/meaning
The arms show the castle of Finestres (10th century), a village in the municipality, to which Sant Aniol belonged. The barry Argent and Gules are the arms of the barons of Santa Pau, the lords of the castle. These arms have been officially granted on 13th October 1988.
