Official blazon

Sinisessä kentässä alakkain kolme uivaa hopeahaukea, joiden varukset punaiset, alapuolella sahakoroinen hopeatyviö.

The arms were officially granted on February 11, 1952.

The pikes (hauki) are canting. The base shows a saw-blade and refers to the (formerly) important sawmills and timber industry in the village.
