Escudo de Font-rubí

Official blazon

Escut caironat: d'atzur, una muralla torrejada de 2 torres obertes d'or. Per timbre una corona de baró.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on January 31, 1983.

The towered wall is a traditional sign of the arms of Font-rubí, possibly an alteration of a former castle. In fact, the village was the centre of a barony (what is shown by the baron's crown), and its castle is now in ruins.
