Escudo de verde, dois capitéis coríntios de prata e uma taça de ouro bordejada de púrpura com cachos de uvas folhados, do mesmo metal, tudo bem ordenado. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas : “ CADAFAIS - ALENQUER “.

Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on September 20, 1995.

The two Corinthian capitals are a symbol for the Roman occupation and long history of the area. The base shows a bowl for grapes, handed to the village during a visit of King Carlos as a gift to the local vintners. Ever since the bowl is kept within the families in the village.
