WIEN-SALMANNSDORF

State : Wien (Vienna)

Wappen von Wien-Salmannsdorf

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms show St Sebastian, the patron of the Salmannsdorf chapel. The name is first mentioned 1279 and probably goes back to a manor house run by and administrator ("salman") of the Margraves of Austria.
