Escudo de azul, com pano de muralha de prata, posto em faixa e movente dos flancos, aberto e lavrado do campo, entre um cordeiro de ouro, realçado de negro, segurando na pata dextra um lábaro de vermelho, com haste de prata e carregado de uma cruz do mesmo, em chefe, e uma águia de prata em ponta. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas : “ BEJA – S. JOÃO BAPTISTA “.
