TEYRAN

Département : Hérault

Blason de Teyran

Official blazon

D’azur au sautoir d'or chargé d'un croissant de gueules.

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in May 2003.

The saltire is the symbol of St. Andrew, the local patron saint. The colours and the crescent are taken from the former Lords of the village, the La Croix de Candillargues family.
