Escudo de verde, castelo de ouro lavrado, aberto e frestado de negro, entre dois ramos de castanheiro de prata, com ouriços do mesmo, frutados de vermelho, com os pés passados em aspa; em chefe, duas chaves, uma de ouro e outra de prata, com os palhetões para cima e passadas em aspa. Coroa mural nos termos da lei. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: “Trancoso — S. Pedro”.
