Escudo de verde, doze mós de moinho de prata, alinhadas em faixa, seis, seis; em chefe, duas espigas de arroz de ouro, folhadas do mesmo, com os pés passados em aspa; ponta ondada de prata e azul de três tiras. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas : “ ALQUEIDÃO – FIGUEIRA DA FOZ “.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 9, 2000.
The arms show some rice for the traditional cultivation of rice in the parish. The millstones refer to the important historical watermill in the village. The base refers to the Mondego and Pranto rivers.
