In azuur twee gaande leeuwen van goud, vergezeld van zeven liggende blokjes van hetzelfde, geplaatst twee boven, twee in het midden en drie onder.
Origin/meaning
The badge shows the Provincial Arms of Friesland. It was approved 1 December 1953. Amongst others the name has been used by a Destoyer in Service 1956-1979 and from 2013 by a Ocean-going Patrol Vessel.
