The oldest seals of the town, which belonged to the diocese of Strassburg (Strasbourg), are known from 1436 and 1446. In gespaltenem Schild vorne in Blau ein aus dem Unterrand emporkommender goldener Krummstab mit nach links gewendeter Krümme, hinten in Gold ein roter Schrägbalken.
