REGUEIRA DE PONTES
Municipality : Leiria
District : Leiria
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on August 22, 1997.
The seven arrows are the symbol of St. Sebastian, patron saint of the parish. The bell symbolises the local church bells, which were, rather unusual, cast in the village itself. The purple bridge symbolizes the name of the village, as Ponte means bridge. The waves represent the Liz river that runs through the village.
