Escudo de vermelho, torre quadrangular de prata, lavrada e com frestas de negro, carregada de uma cruz latina de azul, entre flor-de-lis de ouro, em chefe e campanha diminuta de prata e azul de três tiras. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com legenda negro: " VILA – MELGAÇO ".
