916TH MAINTENANCE SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE
History: Constituted as 916 Maintenance Squadron on 3 July 1951. Activated in the Reserve on 6 August 1951. Inactivated on 15 June 1952. Consolidated (22 October 1984) with the 916 Consolidated Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, which was constituted, activated, and organized in the Reserve, on 1 December 1965. Inactivated on 8 July 1972. Activated in the Reserve on 1 October 1987. Redesignated as 916 Maintenance Squadron on 1 February 1992.
