Official blason:

Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on July 12, 1972.

The arms are a combination of elements from the arms of the Attel (diamonds) and Rott (lion) abbeys. Both had many possessions in the present municipality for many centuries. The blue and silver at the same time symbolise the fact that the area already belongs to Bayern since medieval times.

Literature : Information provided by the council.
