D'azur à la fasce ondée d'argent surmontée de deux coquilles d'or et soutenue d'une roue crantée du même.

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on November 18, 1996.

The scallops in the upper part are the symbol of St. James the elder, the local patron saint. The wavy bar refer to the Ource river. The cogwheel in the lower half symbolises the local industries.
