Official blazon

I rødt et gull kløverbladkors lagt over to økser med gull skaft og sølv blad som vender utover. Våpenet omfatter enhver heraldisk form.

Origin/meaning

Based on the Medival Arms of the Archdiocese of Nidaros (Trondheim). Approved as the Arms of the Church of Norway by a resolution of the Crownprince-Regent on 28 September 1990.
