RECEA (MARAMUREȘ)

District/county (județ) : Maramureș

Stema Recea (Maramureș)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 25, 2015.

The tower refers to the old castle that was built by Count Francis Bethlen.

The bar represents the locality of Săsar, which in the past was a flourishing fortress, mentioned in the diploma of Ludovic the Great, an authenticated document, found in copy in the parish archive.

The vine symbolizes the viticultural richness of the area, as well as the old seal, exposed in the church from Săsar.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
