Blason de Englebelmer

Official blason

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on October 7, 2021.

The first quarter shows the arms of the house of Englebelmer (in inverted colours) known from the 13th to the 15th centuries in Englebelmer . The second quarter shows a rose, attribute of Our Lady of Vitermont, and the third a horse symbolizing Saint Martin, patron of the church of Englebelmer. The fourth quarter shows the coat of arms of the Humières family who owned the seigneury of Vitermont in the 15th and 16th centuries.
