Badge: Argent within a sprocket Vert a pair of calipers points in chief Sable, on a chief Gules two swords in saltire Argent hilts and pommels Or.
Motto: DE ARMIS VERITAS.

Origin/meaning

The swords refer to the Land Force. The tracked vehicle sprocket is representative of the items which the LFETU must test for the Land Force, and the calipers represent the many measurements taken during a trial. The Motto translates as "Truth about arms".

The badge was approved by the Canadian Heraldic Authority on July 1, 2001.
