Escudo partido, medio cortado y entado en punta. Primero, de gules, fuente de oro, mazonada de sable, con dos caños manantes y agua en azur. Al jefe, estrella de oro de seis puntas. Segundo, de plata, cepa de sinople (hojas) y sable (racimos). Tercero, de azur tres espigas de oro, puestas una en palo y dos en aspa. Entado en punta, sobre sable mitra de oro con cruz de sinople. Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 3, 2004.
The fountain is the local fountain. The star refers to the Villa de Quintanilla de Recuerda, which is now part of the town hall. The grapes refer to the famous Douro vines, the wheatears refer to the agricultural character of the village. The base refers to the locally born D. Andrés de la Cuesta.
