Official blazon

Unter rot-silbern geschachtem Schildhaupt in Blau ein silberner Wellenschrägbalken, darüber eine goldene Krone.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on December 15, 1964.

The chequered field refers to the County Sponheim, to which the area historically belonged. The crown (Krone) is a canting element. The wavy bend symbolises the Nahe river near the village.
