Origin/meaning

The arms show a rider on a horse holding a banner and a set of rams horns. The ride ris the so-called King of Farmers, the nickname of the mayor, who rides a horse with the local banner on special occasions. The rams horns are taken from the local noble family Von Lierheim. The colours are those of the city of Nördlingen, which bought the village from the Von Lierheim family around 1450.
