Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on December 18, 1984.

The arms show elements from the historical rulers in the area. The griffin's claw is derived from the arms of the local Lords of Wombrechts. The bend is taken from the arms of the Lords of Syrgenstein and the fleur-de-lis from the arms of the city of Wangen.
