Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 21, 1986.

The arms combine elements for the history of the three former municipalities. The chief shows the points of the Franconia region and refers to the State of Würzburg, which ruled WIllanzheim from 1628-1803.

The blue and silver pales are taken from the arms of the Lords von Seinsheim, who owned the village of herrnsheim for a long period of time.

The small shield shows the cross of the Teutonic Order. In 1213 a small monastery of the order was founded in Hüttenheim. The possession was sold to the Princes of Schwarzenberg in 1680.
