Origin/meaning
The Shield alludes to the Lords then Barons of Blancafort. They where the origins of the linage of D. Antonio de Sangenís y Torres, Commander of the Engineers and and Hero of the siege of Zaragoza. He is the namegiver of the Unit. The Coat of Arms was approved 13 July 2009.
