State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Calw
Additions : 1914 Dennjächt; 1972 Kapfenhardt

Official blazon

In Silber ein blauer Wellenbalken, darüber eine liegende schwarze Hirschstange, darunter die schwarzen lateinischen Großbuchstabe UR.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1934.

The deer antler (for Württemberg) and the initials UR are derived from the 19th century seal of the village. The wavy bar symbolises the Reichenbach river, from which the name of the village is derived.
