Official blazon

Origin/meaning

Miesbach did not have its own arms or symbols prior to 1812. On September 3, 1812 the present arms were granted by King Max I Joseph of Bavaria.

The banner represents the Lords of Maxlrain, who became Lords of Miesbach in 1483. The colours, however, are the Bavarian colours (original silver and black).
