State : Steiermark
District : Weiz

Fladnitzt.jpg

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on April 1, 1966.

The arms depict the characteristic shape of the Osser mountain, which is dominating the landscape of the region. The eagle and the fish represent the rich local fauna. The silver base also indicates the lake (Teich-Alm) at the foot of the Osser.
