STOLZALPE

State : Steiermark
District : Murau

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on September 25, 1972.

Stolzalpe is a municipality in Upper Styria. The sun does shine here so often that a sanatorium was opened in the municipality. Today, it is also a winter ski resort. The two bends sable are the old arms of the Liechtenstein family who owned lands in the region.
