The arms were officially granted on April 8, 1975.
The upper part shows a pair of ibex horns, which refer to the close connections with Serfaus, which also used ibex horns. See was, like Serfaus, a possession of the Lords of Serfaus, who use dthe ibex horns.
The base shows a canting lake (See).
